UK VISAS

VISITOR VISAS 

1.Standard Vİsitor Visa 

  • For a conference, meeting or training, 
  • To participate in a specific sporting event, 
  • To perform as an artist, entertainer or musician, 
  • As an academic, for academic research or to accompany students in a study abroad program, 
  • To receive a clinical document or observer letter as a doctor or dentist, 
  • To take the Professional and Linguistic Assessment Board (PLAB) exam or to take the Objective Structured Clinical Exam (OSCE), 
  • To invest to establish, take over, join or run a business, 
  • Those who want to visit the UK should apply for this visa type. 

With this visa; 

  •  Participate in any of the business activities specified in the visitor rules, 
  •  You can receive training for up to 30 days unless the main reason for your visit is, 
  •  Participate in an exchange program or training visit (if you are under 18), 
  • You can transit from the UK during your trip to another country. 

But with visa; 

  •  Can not work for a fee or for free, 
  •  Cannot live in the UK for a long time through frequent visits, 
  •  Cannot receive public funds, 
  •  Do not marry. 

 

2.Marriage Visa 

  •  If you want to get married or establish a partnership in the UK, 
  • If you do not plan to stay or settle in the UK after your marriage, 

 

3.Payment Contracted Work Visa 

  •  If you have been invited by a UK-based organization or customer, 
  •  If you want to come to the UK to do certain paid jobs without a sponsor under the points-based visa system, 
  •  If you are a citizen of a country other than the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, 

You can apply for this visa type. 

 

4.Tier 4 Student Parent Visa 

  •  If your child is studying at an independent paid school in the UK, 
  •  If you are a citizen of a country other than the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, 

You can apply for this visa type. 

This visa is generally valid for 6 or 12 months. After that, you can get an extension for 12 months at a time, until your child turns 12. 

STUDY VISAS 

1.Short-term study visa 

  • If you are participating in a short-term course in the UK, 
  •  If you are a citizen of a country other than the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, 

You can apply for this visa type. 

With this visa; 

  •  Attend a short course in the UK, such as an English language course or training course, 
  •  If you are studying abroad, you can do short-term research activities as part of undergraduate education. 

But with this visa; 

  •  Cannot study in a statesupported school, 
  • Cannot work (including for work placement or experience) or carry out any work, 
  •  Cannot extend your visa, 
  •  Can’t bring your family members, 
  •  You cannot receive public funds. 

 

2.Tier 4 – General Student Visa 

  •  If you are 16 or older, 
  •  If you have received an offer from a course, 
  •  If you can speak, read, write and understand English, 
  •  If you have enough money (amount will vary depending on your circumstances) to cover your costs and pay for your course, 
  •  If you are a citizen of a country other than the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, 

You can apply for this visa to study in the UK. 

 

3.Tier 4 – Child Student Visa 

  • If you are between 4 and 17 years old and would like to study at an independent school in the UK, you can apply for this visa type. 

Also; 

  • You have been accepted to a course, 
  • You have received the consent of your parent or guardian, 
  •  Sufficient money to cover tuition fees and living costs, 
  •  Being a citizen of a country other than the European Economic Area (EEA) and 

is required. 

LONG TERM WORKING VISA (TIER 2) 

1.Tier 2- General Work Visa 

  •  If you have received a qualifying job offer from the UK, 
  •  If you are a citizen of a country other than the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, 

You can apply for this visa type. 

To apply for living in the UK, you must be employed by a licensed sponsor. 

Your sponsor must confirm that you are eligible for the job he/she received and that this qualification is sufficient to obtain a visa. To prove this, they need to give you a sponsorship certificate. 

It also needs to provide other information you need, such as how much they will pay. 

2.Tier 2- In-Company Transfer Visa 

  •  If your overseas employer offered you a role in the UK branch of the organization, 
  •  If you are a citizen of a country other than the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, 

You can apply for this visa type. 

To apply for living in the UK, you must be employed by a licensed sponsor.

Types of in-house transfer visas 

Long Term Staff 

  •  If you are transferred by the company to a role that requires experience, you can apply for this visa type. 
  •  You must work for your company in the UK for more than 12 months and pay you £ 73,900 or more for a year. 

Graduate intern 

  •  Transfer to graduate trainee programs for expert roles. 

You must be a new graduate with at least 3 months of experience abroad with your employer.

3.Tier 2- Religious Affairs Visa 

  • If you have received a job offer in a faith community in the UK (for example, as a religious group, missionary or member of a religious order), 
  •  If you are a citizen of a country other than the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, 

 

You can apply for this visa type.

SHORT TERM WORK VISA (TIER 5) 

1. Tier 5- Temporary Work Visa(charity worker) 

  • If you want to volunteer free of charge for a charity, 
  •  If you are a citizen of a country other than the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, 

 

You can apply for this visa type. 

To apply for working in the UK, you must have a certificate issued by a licensed sponsor. 

The work you do in the UK should be related to the work of your sponsoring organization. 

2. Tier 5- Temporary Work Visa(Artist and Sportsman) 

  •  If you have received a job offer in the UK as an athlete or a creative worker such as an actor, dancer, musician or film crew member, 
  •  If you are a citizen of a country other than the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, 

You can apply for this visa type. 

 

To apply for working in the UK, you must have a certificate issued by a licensed sponsor. 

The work you do in the UK should be related to the work of your sponsoring organization. 

3. Tier 5- Temporary Work Visa(Statesman exchange) 

  •  If you would like to come to the UK for a short period to study or accompany a work experience or study through an overseas language program or under an approved government competent exchange program, 
  •  If you have a sponsor, 
  •  If you are a citizen of a country other than the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, 

You can apply for this visa type.

Your sponsor can be any of the following: 

  • An organization running an approved exchange program,

  •  If you are a citizen of a country other than the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, 
  •  If you are going to work in a contracted job under international law, for example in the UK, for a foreign government or as a private servant in a diplomatic home,

5. Tier 5-  Temporary Work Visa(religious worker)

7. Tier 5-  Temporary Work Visa(youth exchange program) 

  •  If you want to live and work in the UK for up to 2 years, 
  • If you are between 18 and 30 years old, 
  •  If you save £ 1,890, 
  •  If you have certain types of British citizenship or citizenship of other specific countries, 

You can apply for this visa type. 

INVESTOR, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND TALENT VISA 

1. Innovative Investment Visa 

  •  If you want to start or run a business in the UK, 
  •  If you are a citizen of a country other than the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, 
  •  If your business or business idea has been accepted by a notified body, 

You can apply for this visa type. 

If you want to start a new business, you must have at least £ 50,000 in your account for investment. You don’t need capital if your business is already set up and approved for a previous visa. 

To get approval, your investment, 

  • You are on a new business idea (You cannot join or invest in a business that is still trading) 
  • A vibrant business idea with growth potential

2. New Business Visa 

  • If you want to start a new business in the UK,

Your application; 

  • a higher education institution in the UK or 
  • A business organization with a history of supporting UK entrepreneurs 

It must be approved by a competent authority. 

Your business idea; 

  • You are on a new business idea (You cannot join or invest in a business that is still trading) 
  • A vibrant business idea with growth potential

3. Tier 1- Exceptional Talent Visa 

  • If you want to work in a qualified field, 
  •  If you are a recognized leader, 
  •  If you are a promising leader, 
  •  If you are a citizen of a country other than the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, 

You can apply for this visa type. 

There are 2,000 quotas under this visa category from April 6 until April 5 of the next year. 

You need to complete 2 stages to get this visa. 

  • To apply to the Ministry of Internal Affairs to be accepted as a leader or a promising leader in certain areas, 
  • To apply for a visa, 

Most people apply for admission first, but you can make both applications at the same time. However, if your acceptance application is rejected and if your visa application is also rejected and you cannot receive any refund for both applications. 

4. Tier 1- Investor Visa 

  •  If you want to invest £ 2,000,000 or more in the UK, 
  •  If you are a citizen of a country other than the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland,

OTHER WORKING VISA AND IMMUNITIES 

1. UK Lineage visa 

  •  If you are a Commonwealth citizen, 
  •  If you are applying from outside the UK, 
  •  If you can prove that one of your grandparents was born in England, 
  •  If you plan to work in the UK and have this qualification, 

You can apply for this visa type. 

2. Exemption Visa 

  •  If you are working for a diplomat or a diplomatic mission in the UK and are outside the UK during the application period, 
  •  If you are the Minister of official business abroad, or if you are travelling with such a part of your job, 
  •  If you are a member of Commonwealth or Overseas Armed Forces for duty or training purposes in the UK, 
  •  If you are a staff member working for the President or head of state (eg a state visit) 
  •  If you are exempt from immigration control for any reason,

Some family members can also use this visa. 

3. Private Employee Visa 

  •  If you are a local employee in a private house, 
  •  If you have been working for your employer for at least one year, 
  •  If you are a citizen of a country other than the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, 

and if you want to visit the UK with your employer, you can apply for this visa type. 

The definition of domestic worker includes: 

  • Housekeeper, 
  •  Driver, 
  • Chef, 
  •  Providing personal care for the employer and his family, 
  • Nanny. 

 4. Overseas Business Representative Visa 

  •  If you are from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland and you want to come to the UK as an overseas business representative, 
  •  If you are the only representative of the parent company abroad that plans to establish the UK Branch or a subsidiary owned by all, 
  •  If you will come to England with a long-term appointment as an employee of an overseas newspaper, news agency or broadcasting organization, 
  •  If you are a citizen of a country other than the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland,

5. Turkish Business Person Visa 

  •  If you are a Turkish citizen, 
  •  If you want to start a new business in the UK, 
  •  If you want to come to England to run an established business,

6. Turkish Workers Visa 

  •  If you are a Turkish citizen and have legally worked in the UK for at least 1 year, 
  •  If you are an English or resident spouse without any restrictions on working in the UK, 
  •  If you have a work permit that allows you to work in the UK, 
  •  If you are a student who is permitted to work 20 hours a week during full-time study periods during the holidays,

The amount of time you stay and what you can do depends on how much you work legally in the UK.
